Filling the Gap
Now that I’ve prayed over Psalm 60, I want to pray over Psalms not posted on my blog. Either the reason was I couldn’t share because they were too personal or repetitive in their content. Also, I’m working on the book of Romans and won’t share those prayers until it’s done. For it’s wise and profitable to be alone with God before sharing those prayers on my blog. My heart and conscience can be stuck on a matter of the heart until the Holy Spirit gave me to rest upon it. I need to put into practice what I said: Be alone with God in prayer.
What is interesting is I’ve changed a bit my format of prayer. Not only do I mix the ACTS with finding God’s attributes, His promises, and our responsibility. So here we go!
“Psalm 14 is a community lament in which the people of Gd mourn the fact that human is general do not seek after God and thus they treat God’s people cruelly. It’s’s almost identical to psalm 53, which was probably and alternate version of the human prior of both of them being into the Psalter. ”

Haters of God’s People
The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds; there is none who does good. 2 The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. 3 They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one.4 Have they no knowledge, all the evildoers who eat up my people as they eat bread and do not call upon the Lord?
“”Father in heaven, you”ve looked down from heaven on the children of men and seen they’ve hardened their hearts against the Son of God. Profaning with their mouth, body, and mind in every possible way, saying, “There is no God.” The haters of God have consciously rejected Jesus Christ.
O Father, your judgment is upon us! Let us not be like the haters of God and be tempted to deny You when faced with difficulties. Restore us to You in a way that is divine and miraculous. Forshake us not when we need revival in our churches, home, and nations.

The Lord is My Refuge
5 There they are in great terror, for God is with the generation of the righteous. 6 You would shame the plans of the poor, but the Lord is his refuge.
The faithful are subject to exhortation, ridicule, mockery, and threats. But we must hold our grudges and let God’s punishment fall on the fools and unrighteous, for He’s gracious and merciful in His dealings with sinful people. Jesus Christ, you’re our refuge, giving us the strength of perseverance and endurance when faced with threats.
Holy Spirit, set my heart to please Jesus Christ. Let not my mouth, soul, and mind live in reclusion of fear of evil that is running amidst us. Our prayers should be filled with thanksgiving for Jesus’ work of salvation and restoration. Our simple should give great pleasure to others as we share the gospel with them. Teach me how to retain our will to live for Christ.
Restore Your People!
7 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When the Lord restores the fortunes of his people, let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad.
Oh, how I love Your promise of salvation and restoration. A story of the love of redemption that abounds in the mercies of God. God’s people, lift your voices and prayers to the Almighty God who has done it all. God has won the battle! He’s coming back as my King on Mount Zion.
