Psalm 21

Psalm 21 is a vivid testimony of God’s abundant blessings, a poignant reminder of His power, and a hopeful declaration of His justice. As we reflect on the profound words of King David, we can find reassurance in God’s love, strength, and the promise of deliverance. Like David, we, too, can trust in the Lord’s unfailing love and look forward to the joy found in His presence. ~ BibleHub

Our Salvation

O Lord, in your strength the king rejoices, and in your salvation how greatly he exults! 2You have given him his heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah3For you meet him with rich blessings; you set a crown of fine gold upon his head. 4He asked life of you; you gave it to him, length of days forever and ever. 5His glory is great through your salvation; splendor and majesty you bestow on him. 6For you make him most blessed forever; you make him glad with the joy of your presence.7For the king trusts in the Lord, and through the steadfast love of the Most High he shall not be moved.

God Most High, in Your steadfast love, You gave us blessings and hope. We live in Your glory, knowing you’re our God and life-giver and Creator. You bestow Your splendour and majesty upon us that we may find joy in Your creation. You’re a God that withheld nothing from us, desiring to have your servants worship You through the ages of time. O God, let Your presence be a joy for us!

Strengthened our faith when we wobbled like a child starting to walk. Teach us to trust You even more while the world has caged our minds, bodies, and souls to believe no God exists. In You, I shall trust!

Exult our minds, hearts, and souls when we read Your word and understand that our joy and hope will give us a purpose. Not fearing the outcome but trusting in Your will.

Standing Firm in Christ Jesus

Your hand will find out all your enemies; your right hand will find out those who hate you. 9 You will make them as a blazing oven when you appear. The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath, and fire will consume them.10 You will destroy their descendants from the earth, and their offspring from among the children of man. 11 Though they plan evil against you, though they devise mischief, they will not succeed. 12 For you will put them to flight; you will aim at their faces with your bows.

Father, forgive us when we disobey and desire selfish ambitions contrary to Your word. We are ambiguous and need to repent. Our sins and the world will strike us like a roaring lion, desiring to deceive, if possible, the elects. On our knees, we bring our supplication, knowing You hear all our prayers. Teach us to trust in You, our perfect King, and let our voice praise Your Name. Put to flight those who aim hurtful plots against Your saints.

Sing Praises

Be exalted, O Lord, in your strength! We will sing and praise your power.

Let our voices praise Your Name. In Your marvellous light, we desire to live and stand firm in our faith. There is no other God but You.
