Adoration
Shout for joy in the Lord, O you righteous! Praise befits the upright.2 Give thanks to the Lord with the lyre; make melody to him with the harp of ten strings! 3 Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings with loud shouts. ~Psalm 33:1-4
“Father of light with whom there are no variations or shadows due to change. You never change, O LORD.” ~James 1:27
“O God whose will conquers all, there is no comfort in anything apart from enjoying You and being engaged in Your service. You are ALL Creator in all, and all enjoyments are what to me You make them, and no more.” ~ Excerpt from Valley of Vision
Confession
For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness. 5 He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord. 6 By the word of the Lord, the heavens were made, and by the breath of his mouth all their host.7 He gathers the waters of the sea as a heap; he puts the deeps in storehouses. ~ Psalm 33:4-7
Your upright and good works showed me how great and awesome of a God You are. In Your steadfast love, You’ve forgiven all my debts and nailed them at the cross, dying with You and fred by Your atonement for all my sins.
If I’m frustrated in my walk to please You in all matters of life, forgive me and teach me how to live a godly life by faith in the Son of God.
Supplication
The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; he frustrates the people’s plans.
11 The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations. 12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he has chosen as his heritage!13 The Lord looks down from heaven; he sees all the children of man; 14 from where he sits enthroned, he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth, 15 he who fashions the hearts of them all and observes all their deeds.
16 The king is not saved by his great army; a warrior is not delivered by his great strength.
17 The war horse is a false hope for salvation, and by its great might, it cannot rescue.18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love,19 that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine. ~Psalm 33:1-19
“I long to make some return but have nothing to offer and can only rejoice that you do it all, that none in heaven or on earth share your honour.” ~ Excerpt from Valley of Vision
Let your righteousness guide my feet into a direction that will honour Your name. You look down on us and see all we’ve done, the good and the evil. None of us are saved by great armies, or by a superhero, or our own strength, but by the steadfast love of the Son of God who gave himself for us. You’ve delivered us from the wrath of God and reconciled us to the Father.
“Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart is glad in Him, because we trust in His holy name. Let Your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in You”
Psalm 33: 20-22

Using different resources like the Valley of Vision and another excellent book in my daily prayer was a blessing. My thoughts go on and off about what I read that morning throughout the day, and sharing my learning with others is profitable for my soul and the other person.
We just finished reading Respectable Sin by Jerry Bridge, so I may quote a bit from that book, too.
Let’s Go Pray!
