“God, you dwell in the high and holy place, and with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to receive the spirit of the lowly and the heart of the contrite.” ~Isaiha 57:15b
Gracious and Wonderful Provider, let Your love, mercies, and blessings fall upon Your people. Let Your face shine again so our joy and hope may be strengthened. Your saving power called those who have lived in sins to be brought into Your marvellous kingdom.
O God, let Your people praise You, and the nations be glad and sing for joy. Come and judge the people! We await our king, our Righteous and glorious King. Our country and the world are plotting evil all day long. I shall not be afraid, for you’re with me.
Forgive Your servant for doubting this world will not be rescued with Your final return. O Jesus, there is so much evil everywhere and in everything. It left no hope for us, our children, and our grandchildren. Will this evil ever be punished and fade away as written in Your promises? Give us strength, discernment, courage, and faith, and be firm in Your word to endure all things. Forgive me for doubting your Sovereignty.
“May I always lay hold upon this Mediator as I realize the object of faith? And alone worthy by His love to bridge the gulf. Let me know that He is dear to me by His word. I am one with Him by the world of His part and by faith in mine. If I oppose the Word, I oppose my Lord when He is most near. If I receive the Word, I receive my Lord, wherein He is night. So shall Christ the Word and His Word be my strength and comfort” ~ Valley of Vision
