Psalm 73

“O Father, of Jesus, help me to approach You with deepest reverence, not with presumption, not with servile fear, but with holy bolness. You are beyond the grasp of my understanding, but not beyond that which I can move. You know that I love You supremely, for You are supremely adorable, good, perfect.” ~ Exerpt of Valley of Vision

O God of Righteousness, Almighty and Powerful Redeemer, You are pure. The innocent, poor, and needy will receive their crown of justice from You. You despise those who are brutish, ignorant beasts, seeking their heart’s content in riches, fame, and prosperity, striking down those in their way.

They wear their pride around their neck like a necklace, and violence covers them as garments with the blood of the innocents. They mocked You by saying, “How can God know?” (v10) Defiling Your all-knowing presence, and they declared, “Is there knowledge in the Most High?” (v11). Boasting, they know more than You. Oh God of heaven, let me not envy such a wicked person.

Forgive me, O God, for desiring to be like unbelievers who prosper or have more excellent talents than I. Let my heart be entirely Yours, seek the things of heaven and conform my mind to Your Word. (Rom 12:2)

What I learned about God

  • He is good, perfect, and adorable
  • He is my anchor and refuge

What I’m Grateful for:

  • He has helped me realize not to envy those who are wicked
  • That His promises are worthier and last eternally
  • He forgave ALL my sins.

“Make me fruitful by living to that love, my character becoming more beautiful eery day. If traces of Christ’s love-aristry be upon me, may he work on whith His divine brush until the complete image be obtained and I be made a perfect copy of Him, my Master.” ~ Exeprt from Valley of Vision

Inductive Study update

In the last two weeks, I’ve memorized Psalm 119:1-8. And study those verses in depth with the commentary, questions, key verses and words, and prayers. I’ve written in my notebook what I’ve learned and anything that helps me remember His Word. It was such a delight that I went a step further and diagrammed the verses one by one to understand God’s Word better; also, it helped me memorize 🙂 Sometimes, I study God’s Word in the morning and sometimes throughout the day. Also I simplied my steps on the study-card.
