Psalm 26

God’s Righteousness

Oh Lord of heaven, let my faith be vindicated by Your righteousness. I appreciate your protection over my well-being, for I know not all the dangers ahead. Your house is a place I want to dwell in forever; there, I shall find rest, peace, and joy. You’re a righteous God who has proved, tested and tried our minds and hearts to grow spiritually, pleasing You. Let my steps not falther and wander away from Your ways.

Forgiveness

In all I’ve learned form You, let it not be used for boasting or put others down. Forgive my wanderings of the mind and heart. Be reproved with gentleness and revive my heart and come back to You. Oh, that I will meditate on Your ways.

Forgive me when I get angry against those who are hypocrites, evildoers, falsehoods, and bloodthirsty men, schemes, and fears into our souls. Let my mind be reconciled to a God who has already won this battle for us and reminds me of my inheritance with Jesus Christ and not from this world.

Supplication

Let all Your word reprove and test my heart and mind. You’ve redeemed me from the domain of darkness, reconciled me to the Father, and Restored me to You in a perfect relationship. Holy Spirit, teach me to walk in Your faithfulness.

“Prove me, O Lord, and try me; test my hart and mind. For Your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I walk in Your faithfullness.”~ psalm 26:2-3
