"God has taken place n His place in the divine council; in the midst of teh gods he hold judgment..." (v1).
Read Psalm 82 and pray over each verses, then read my prayer.
Oh God, Divine Intervener, let Your Divine counsels protect the poor and needy. Let Your Righteousness judgement come upon us and save us from the oppression of the wicket. Your people are worn out by the daily battle. The culture and nations all have forsaken You. None seeks Your righteousness or justice. Forgive our weak faith. Give us strength and courage to walk in all Your ways and stand firm in our faith when trials assailed us. “Being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that you may have full endurance and patience, and joyfully; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of His beloved Son.” ~Col. 1:11-13
“Fullful in me the glory of Your divine offices, be my comforter, light, guide, sancfifier. Take of the things of Christ and show them tomy soul; through Your may I daily learn more of His love, grace, compassion, faithfulness, beauty. Lead me to the cross and show me His wounds; the hateful nature of evil, the power of Satan; may I there see my sins as the naigls that transfixed Him, the cords that bound HIm, the thorns that tore Him, the sword that pierced Him.” ~ Exerpt from Valley of Vision
Forgive me, Oh God, when my thoughts are sinful and don’t align with the fruit of the Spirit. Forgive my lack of zeal for the gospel. Forgive my lack of wisdom when I cannot counsel a young person going through a difficult trial or unbelief. Equipe Your servant with wisdom that I may help my sons. Save them both, O Lord, help me to trust in Your will for both of them, for I cannot save their souls. Only by Your grace and mercy can You bring them back to us. Help me endure the mother’s grievance for her children turning away from You, hating You and forsaking Your ways that we have taught them as children. I bear my pain in Your steadfast love, and my soul longs for Your return.
Let’s Go Pray!
