Prayer dated May21/24

Adoration: The Lord Reigns

"And was declared to the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by His resurrection form the dead, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of His name among tall the nations; including you wo are called to belong to Jesus Christ." ~ Romans 1:4-5

1The Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice;
let the many coastlands be glad!
2Clouds and thick darkness are all around him;
righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
3Fire goes before him
and burns up his adversaries all around.
4His lightnings light up the world;
the earth sees and trembles.
5The mountains melt like wax before the Lord,
before the Lord of all the earth.

Oh Lord, You reign over all the earth and Your proclaimed Your righteousness and justice to all humanity. Your grace and mercy are a stool to Your throne. Those going against Your justice and righteousness, against Your holy name, and against your glory, will have a taste of Your judgment and wrath. The earth and mountains tremble before You, then who am I to question the Almighty God. Your servant is but a mist!

Confession: See His Glory

Oh Lord, let the heavens proclaim Your beautiful righteousness and let your people see Your glory. My joy and gladness comes from Your word. My tested faith can only be expressed when I demonstrated a Christlike in my heart and mind (Gal 5: 22-23). By trusting, obeying, and repenting for my sins to You, I have learned and come to understand Your will.

The heavens proclaim his righteousness,
and all the peoples see his glory.
7All worshipers of images are put to shame,
who make their boast in worthless idols;
worship him, all you gods!

Forgive me when tempted. Heal my weak heart and mind from doing unfaithful actions, either in my heart or mind, or towards others. Let my lips proclaim you’re the Most High God. Oh Jesus, my friend, and Redeemer, be with your servant daily and give me joy through Your word.

8Zion hears and is glad,
and the daughters of Judah rejoice,
because of your judgments, O Lord.
9For you, O Lord, are most high over all the earth;
you are exalted far above all gods.

Thankful: He Give me Life

“And the Word which announces all the glory of His goodness is nigh me, invites me, beseeches me.” Excerpt from Valley of Vision

I’m thankful for God’s divine sovereignty, For His righteous judgment and justice. For the joy, comfort, understanding, wisdom, and encouragement I received from His word. I’m comforted that God, who see all things, will punished the insolent and the wicked. I’m blessed that He has gave me life. That He is Holy and perfect.

Request: Love the Lord

Oh Lord, preserve our life in whatever situation we are going through. Let me rejoice in You, and give thanks to Your holy name (v10-12). My heart is sad at the lost of our dog (Merlin) who had a cancerous mass on his colon. My tears for this animal are burdensome. We have lost a friend and companion dear to our heart. I wasn’t ready to let him go. To soon. But I’ve learned a precious lesson from You, O Lord, never take anything for grated. Bring us another sweet companion.

10O you who love the Lord, hate evil!
He preserves the lives of his saints;
he delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
11Light is sown^a for the righteous,
and joy for the upright in heart.
12Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous,
and give thanks to his holy name!
