Hello my praying friends, I hope your week full of love for our Savior Jesus Christ. I’m so encouraged by by young people sharing their testimonies on YouTube and how God saved them from a very dark place. God’s grace reached all people from all different background and season. Sometimes He calls with a soft-gentle push and other times, He has to drag some of us out of the domain of darkness. In the end, we are all His redeemed and children of God.
“Psalm 114 is a hymn of celebration and a vivid portrayal of God’s divine power and majesty, illustrating His deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt. This psalm recalls the exodus journey, the crossing of the Red Sea, and the miracles that occurred at Mount Sinai and in the land of Canaan, effectively using metaphorical language to express nature’s response to God’s presence.” ~ Biblehub
Wow, after reading Psalm 114, I wondered how to your pray over this one. Not all Psalms are easy to pray over; for sometimes, a Psalm is a reminder of what God did in the past. When that happens, I let the Holy Spirit guide my heart and remember what God is doing today. All Psalm are praising God or warning His people not to fear the enemies. Let’s try this!
Oh Father, Your wondrous works surrounded me when my eyes are fixed on our creation or on your word, and also when I listened to sermon that are reprimanding my faults or uplifting my heart to seek your faithfully.
The earth tremble at Your presence and You shall punished all the wicked for their evil deeds. Teach me not to fear those who are cruel to the weak, those who judge unfairly, those who mock my God. Let my heart be enlarge when I read Your Word and let me hear Your voice through Your word each day that I meditate on it.
"Those who fear you shall see me and rejoice,
because I have hoped in your word." ~ Psalm 119: 74
Let this Psalm be a reminder how your delivered Your people in the past. Also how we should trust that You will delivered us again at Your return. Oh Jesus, let your name above names be a powerful reminder that if we believe in your name, we are saved. My heart rejoiced at your promise and my hope is in You forever.
In your steadfast love give me life,
that I may keep the testimonies of your mouth. ~ Psalm 119: 88
Let my lips praise You all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen
And just like that, I’ve prayed a short-simple prayer. Speak with your heart to God, not when your feelings tells you NOW it is a good time. Pray seven times a day or once, but when you do give it all to Him who sees it all. Go on. Right now and pray.
Oh Lord, I pray that those who read my prayer, even imperfect ones, will be encouraged to pray for themselves and their loves ones. Oh Lord, teach us how to pray! Amen.
Let’s Go Pray
