Hello my praying friends. How is your summer so far? I hope your are doing great. So far mine is fine. Last Sunday after church, my husband started to be in excruciating pain and we went to the emergency. He was diagnosed that he had a 3mm kidney stone that took a entire week to passed out on it own. So many friends, relative, and people from our church prayed for him. It was a blessing during this bad time. God answered our prayers so fast last Sunday, we couldn’t say it was a coincidence. Praise God!
I’m still struggling with my impure sin, but I’ve started to renounce it every time it oppress or comes back. It is a fleshly struggle, but also I’m obviously on a spiritual battle one too. I’ve sharing my personal sinful struggle with a few people so that I can get biblical correction, comfort, and understanding that this is HARD to get through. My burden as become lighter when I first exposed this sin to my husband and we’re working together to help me through this. Oh the LORD, knows my heart and has already forgiven my sin at the Cross. Every day, I remind myself, that this ugly sin was put to death and I’m a new creature in Christ and I WILL have victory over this sin too. Until Its happens, I must be in prayer, closer to Him.
Let’s Go Pray over Psalm 104!
“Prayer is the natural out-gushing of a soul in communion with Jesus. Just as the leaf and the fruit will come out of the vine-branch without any conscious effort on the part of the branch, but simply because of its living union with the stem.” ~ Charles Spurgeon
Oh LORD, you’re my God, in your splendor and majesty, you lit the path of righteousness. Teach me how to be a obedient servant that loves your word and your ways, more than my iniquities. Help be to walk and seek your ways that I may not be put to shame. Continue sanctifying your servant, making me stronger and wiser than any old aged person. Let my lips praise you in everything.
Oh LORD, you have set the earth on its foundation forever. You’ve rebuke those who have wondered away from your word and seek their own greedy ways. Teach my heart to not envy such a person. You’ve made the moon, sun, and stars and my eyes are fixed and delight in all your creation. According to your word, I’ve sought wisdom and discernment so that I may not fall away from the truth.
“This power in prayer is like the sword of Goliath, wisely may every David say, “There is none like it. Give it me. ” This weapon of all-prayer beats the enemy, and at the same time, enriches its possessor with all the wealth of God.” ~ Charles Spurgeon
Let Your glory last forever and ever, according to the hope you’ve giving your servant. I await for your return with a cheerful heart; for I know deep down that the Cross was the beginning of Your victory over all evil. You’ve given me the tool to fight back all unseen battle. Let me be victorious over my sin, Oh LORD, that I may not sin against you.
In Jesus’s name. Amen.
