Psalm 94

Adoration: God of Vengeance

1O Lord, God of vengeance,
O God of vengeance, shine forth!
2Rise up, O judge of the earth;
repay to the proud what they deserve!
3O Lord, how long shall the wicked,
how long shall the wicked exult?
4They pour out their arrogant words;
all the evildoers boast.
5They crush your people, O Lord,
and afflict your heritage.
6They kill the widow and the sojourner,
and murder the fatherless;
7and they say, “The Lord does not see;
the God of Jacob does not perceive.”

Oh God of Vengeance, Your justice and righteousness shines forth. You will judge the earth and those who have disobeyed, haters of God, evildoers, the wicked, the insolents, and repay to the proud what they deserved (v12). Oh Lord, let Your people no wander away from Your Word, but teach us how to seek you with a whole heart..

You see what evil the wicked are doing toward the poor, vulnerable, widows, the sojourners, the fatherless; for they are defenseless. Our hearts goes to them, but we are not wealthy or powerful enough to help all of them (v5-6).

The Insolent Fools

8Understand, O dullest of the people!
, when will you be wise?
9He who planted the ear, does he not hear?
He who formed the eye, does he not see?
10He who disciplines the nations, does he not rebuke?
He who teaches man knowledge—
11the Lord—knows the thoughts of man,
that they are but a breath.

The insolents are fools who think they can rule this world with power and authorities, but You laugh at their derision and stupidity for you’ve already conquered the world by the power of your death at the Cross, by shedding Your blood to redeem us. Your Word is the double-edge sword and no one can go against it(v9-11).

12Blessed is the man whom you discipline, O Lord,
and whom you teach out of your law,
13to give him rest from days of trouble,
until a pit is dug for the wicked.
14For the Lord will not forsake his people;
he will not abandon his heritage;
15for justice will return to the righteous,
and all the upright in heart will follow it.

Upright in Heart

Oh Lord, we are blessed when we consider Your disciplined in Your steadfast love. When you taught us Your ways through Your word. When we seek wisdom and understanding by reading, study, and meditating on Your word. Oh Lord, do not utterly forsake us, for we do not want to perish in our affliction. The body can be destroyed, but our souls are Yours, O LORD (v.12-15). Let Your justice return to our land that our hearts may not be discouraged.

God my Stronghold

16Who rises up for me against the wicked?
Who stands up for me against evildoers?
17If the Lord had not been my help,
my soul would soon have lived in the land of silence.
18When I thought, “My foot slips,”
your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up.
19When the cares of my heart are many,
your consolations cheer my soul.
20Can wicked rulers be allied with you,
those who frameb injustice by statute?
21They band together against the life of the righteous
and condemn the innocent to death.c
22But the Lord has become my stronghold,
and my God the rock of my refuge.
23He will bring back on them their iniquity
and wipe them out for their wickedness;
the Lord our God will wipe them out.

The wicked surrounds me! Fears and anxieties will drive me away from Your Word; which I do not want to do. Bring me back to You, O LORD, do not forsake Your servant that is trying so hard to stay faithful to you during this time of affliction the world has created. Help me up! When the cares of my heart are many, Your consolation cheer my soul! (v 16-19).

You’ve become my stronghold, my refuge, my rock and I rejoiced knowing You will wipe out all your enemies one day. Then peace and joy will spread like wild fire around the world. Meanwhile, renew and strengthen my soul, that all may be well with me. Amen

Psalm 92

Adoration ~ Made me Glad by Your Word

It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
to sing praises to your name, O Most High;
2 to declare your steadfast love in the morning,
and your faithfulness by night,
3 to the music of the lute and the harp,
to the melody of the lyre.
4 For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work;
at the works of your hands I sing for joy.

Your thoughts are very deep and no one can stand by Your side and declare themselves better then You. For You’re holy, sovereign, merciful and divine in character. You word, O LORD, shall last forever, enduring all generation. No evil can dethrone Jesus Christ our Savior from his throne of grace. He is the King of the Jews, the King of Zion, my holy hill. The King of kings, and not one person can outlived Him.

How great are your works, O Lord!
    Your thoughts are very deep!
The stupid man cannot know;
    the fool cannot understand this:
that though the wicked sprout like grass
    and all evildoers flourish,
they are doomed to destruction forever;
    but you, O Lord, are on high forever.
For behold, your enemies, O Lord,
    for behold, your enemies shall perish;
    all evildoers shall be scattered

Confession~ Unwanted Selfishness

Forgive Your servant for her selfish though in wanting and end to this Fallen world; for my heart grieves and earns for justice and righteousness. Filled my heart with joy, when there is none to be find. The corruption and evildoers having a lack of compassion on the people of the land. They’re greedy for more power. They are corrupted, liars, and deceivers, seeking our lives. Our leaders left us with no desired to pursue a family, a career, and place of rest for our head. We are burden beyond what we can bear.

But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox;
    you have poured over me, fresh oil.
11 My eyes have seen the downfall of my enemies;
    my ears have heard the doom of my evil assailants.

But I know, O LORD, that you shall return as my King and will judge me according to my faults. And you will also punished those who have turned and wandered away from Your Word and Your commandments.

Forgive my lack of strength when fear engulphed me. Teach me to turn my feet to Your testimonies. For you’ve already triumphed over all your enemies.

Request~ The Righteous Flourish

The righteous flourish like the palm tree
and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13 They are planted in the house of the Lord;
they flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They still bear fruit in old age;
they are ever full of sap and green,
15 to declare that the Lord is upright;
he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

Heal our sons and daughters from the curse of the Fall. Redeemed our sons and daughters from the domain of darkness and bring them into your marvelous light. Teach them to be pure by guarding themselves according to your word. Teach them to be lover of God. Praying daily to Jesus Christ our Savior for guidance that they may growth spiritually. Let us not wander away from Your Word.

“My Savior wept that all tears might be wiped from my eyes, groaned that I might have endless song, endure all pain that I might have unfading health, bore a thorny crown that I might have a glory-diadem, bowed his head that I might uplift mine, experienced reproach that I might gaze on unclouded brightness, expired that I might for ever live.” ~ Excerpt from Valley of Vison

Grateful~ He is my Rock

I’m grateful that God is faithful and merciful. He hears my prayer and answered me. He is the Creator of all things and His kingdom last forever. His court shall be a blessing to us. I’m thankful for learning from His word and never take the Bible granted as for many around the world are forbidden to own one. I’m grateful the God is my Rock and Refuge. There is no other one that can comfort me like He does.

Psalm 91

Adoration~ God my Refuge

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say[a] to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

Most High and Almighty God, in You I take refuge. The One I can trust, for You are just and merciful. You’ve delivered Your servant form the fear of terror that the wicked, insolent, murderers, and evil doers, that are continually doing evil in plain sight. Lying, deceived, and taking from us the little we have. They wants all of us dead if we don’t not bow down to their ideology, false religion, and the worshiping of elemental spirits. We are hated by others, we tremble before them.

But You’ve commanded Your angels concerning us, to guard us in all our ways. Oh Jesus, they will bear us up! At Your will, the angels will abide all Your commandments and those who will go against your people will perish.

For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
lest you strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder;
the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.

Confession~ God my Fortress

Hold me fast, O LORD, and guide my spirit not to wander from Your word. Teach me what is beneficial to my spiritual growth. Teach me wisdom and discernment. Forgive me when I don’t seek refuge in Your Word when terror strikes at me, either by circumstances or trials You’ve afflicted upon me to strengthened my faith.

“Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him;
I will protect him, because he knows my name.

Let not the world’s ideologies, philosophy, and genealogies be the end of me. The world has spun out of control in its ugliness and no one seek you, but I will never forget your precepts. Protect Your servant from losing sight of Your promise and strengthened my faith that I may delight in Your word.

Request~ God’s Salvation

“Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him;
I will protect him, because he knows my name.
15 When he calls to me, I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”

Oh God, let Your servant take refuge in Your loving arms for Your steadfast love endure forever. Give me life, that I may praise Your name on earth and heaven.

“Sinner that I am, why should the sun give me light, the air supply breath, the earth bear my tread, its fruits nourish me, its creature subservice my ends. Yet thy compassions yearn over me, the heart hastens to my rescue, thy love endured my curse, thy mercy bore my deserved stripes. Let me walk humbly in the lowest depths of humiliation, bathed in thy blood, tender of conscience, triumphing gloriously as an heir of salvation.” ~ Excerpt from Valley of Vision.

Psalm 90

Adoration~ Everlasting God

Lord, you have been our dwelling place
    throughout all generations.
Before the mountains were born
    or you brought forth the whole world,
    from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
~ Psalm 90:1-2~

Oh God Eternal, let us pray that you will return soon. “Have pity on your servants! and satisfy us in the morning with Your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.” (v13-14).

Father, hear our pleas for mercy and see the evil of the wickedness on our land. They burden our families with unceasing economical changes that become overwhelming to everyone. We need Your guidance and wisdom how to deal with this injustice, showing at times aggressively, twisting our trails by saying, “There is no God. The Bible is a myth. Keep your religion at home!” A dark workforce has risen against the poor, the homeless, and against Your people.

Relent, Lord! How long will it be?
    Have compassion on your servants.
14 Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love,
    that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
15 Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us,
    for as many years as we have seen trouble.
16 May your deeds be shown to your servants,
    your splendor to their children.

Oh Lord, I pray for Your quick return; for our children and grandchildren are caught in his fallen generation. “Let Your favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; establish the work of our hands!” (v17). Teach us endurance and patience. Let Your Word endure forever!

Confession ~ Toil and Trouble

Oh Jesus, You’ve appeased the wrath of God by giving yourself for us on the Cross. His anger and powerful wrath of fury and derision will fall upon the wicked, the insolent, the unrighteous; but those who fear You, his wrath upon us is removed forever and our sins are forgiving, not because what we have done in good work, but because of His righteousness in us.

Oh Lord, forgive my sins; for you know I cannot live a day without being perfect and holy. Only in You can I become Christlike. Save me from my foes! Help me to not wander from your word. “You have set our iniquities before You(Christ), our secret sins in the light of Your presence.” (v.7-8).

Oh Father, forgive our present sins and turned our worries into gladness this day, wipe our tears, our sorrows, and teach us how to find joy in You. You are my steadfast love Savior in who I trust.

“Justified by his blood I am saved by his life, glorifying in his cross, I bow to his scepter, having his Spirit I possess his mind. Lord, grand that my religion may not be occasional and partial, but universal, influential, effective, and may I always continue in thy words as well as they works, so that I may reach my end in peace.” ~ Excerpt from Valley of Vison

Psalm 89

A Maskila of Ethan the Ezrahite.
1I will sing of the steadfast love of the Lord, forever;
with my mouth I will make known your faithfulness to all generations.
2For I said, “Steadfast love will be built up forever;
in the heavens you will establish your faithfulness.”
3You have said, “I have made a covenant with my chosen one;
I have sworn to David my servant:
4‘I will establish your offspring forever,
and build your throne for all generations.’” Selah

Adoration ~I Will Sing of the Steadfast Love of the LORD

"Now I know that the LORD is greater than all the gods, because in this affair they dealt arrogantly with the people." ~Exodus 18:11

Oh God, ” I will sing of your steadfast love of the LORD forever,’ And let my lips praise Your wonders, O LORD (v5) for my heart wants to dwell in Your tent. Your holy sanctuary where I could find peace and rest for my soul. Your’ are a God who is to be fear for there are non who can scattered, crush, and destroy our enemies.

All other gods are cruel, demanding human sacrifices, tradition that are evil and destroying to the body and soul. But You are faithful, merciful, and Sovereign. “You have a mighty arm; strong is your arm, high your right hand,” (v13). Confession~Deliver my Soul from the Power of the Domain of Darkness

46How long, O Lord? Will you hide yourself forever?
How long will your wrath burn like fire?
47Remember how short my time is!
For what vanity you have created all the children of man!
48What man can live and never see death?
Who can deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah

Forgive me, O LORD, when I failed to love You more than anything else and when my desire and pleasures proceed before my personal relationship with You. When I let those desires fester and dominates in my heart, because I lack discipline in being in Your Word, mediated on your precepts and testimonies. Forgive my selfishness! Teach me not to wander from your word.

Deliver my soul form the fears of things to come, things I hate, the things that I cannot controlled, whether it’s personal or by circumstanced or done by my own nations. Haters of God, haters of Christlikeness, and haters of what is good and profitable for our soul.

Oh Jesus, my Savior, who saved my soul; You’ve brought me out of the domain of darkness into the Your marvelous light. I will never forget it.

Request~ In Your Steadfast Love, I rest.

49Lord, where is your steadfast love of old,
which by your faithfulness you swore to David?
50Remember, O Lord, how your servants are mocked,
and how I bear in my heart the insultsf of all the many nations,
51with which your enemies mock, O Lord,
with which they mock the footsteps of your anointed.

52Blessed be the Lord forever!
Amen and Amen

Teach me, Holy Spirit, how to study Your Word and retain it. How to not feel rejected and cast off by this world’s evil doings and be caught in the emotions of loneliness (my weakness), but hold me fast to Your promise.

That the will trust and obey You. Also bring our unsaved sons and daughters to repentance, take them out of the domain of darkness into Your marvelous light. "But I, O LORD, cry to you; in the morning my prayer comes before you. O LORD, why do you cast my soul away? Why do you hide your face from me? Afflicted and close to death from my youth up, I suffer your terrors; I am helpless. Your wrath has swept over me; your dreadful assaults destroy me." ~ Psalm 88: 13-18

Oh Lord, remember Your people, those who wants to de righteous and good in your sight. Remember Your promises of hope, peace, and forgiveness, for Your servant have no where to run for safety. They have destroyed all the godly value of family, friendship, honesty, accountability, purity, relationship with your community service. Abandoning the poor, orphans, and widows.

Forgive our nations for being weak in faith, in thoughts and desiring what the wicket and unbelievers wants; that is loving themselves rather than loving You with a whole heart. Our churches are full of goats with no desire for your law. The have dishearten your people with their lack of spiritual discipline, and we have followed false teachers blindly. O LORD, turn my feet toward your testimonies, teach me how to love your law more than gold.

“Thou Righteousness and Holy Sovereign, in whose hand is my life and whose are all my ways, keep me from fluttering about religion; fix me firm it in, for I am irresolute; my decision are smoke and vapor, and I do not glorify You, or behave according to Your will. Cut me not off before my thoughts grow to responses, and the budding of my soul into full flower, for You are forbearing and good, patient, and kind.” Excerpt from the Valley of Vision.

Psalm 86

"When the goodness and loving kindness of our God our Savior appeased, He saved us, not because of work done by us in righteousness, but according to His own mercy, by th washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit..." ~Titus 3:40-5

God, the author of all Grace & Comfort

Oh, my Savior, Your loving kindness showed when You gave yourself for us on the Cross. Your mercy and righteousness continue to pour among us. You’ve called us to Your throne of grace and given us a reason to hope in Your promises. You’re the God of truth and life; guide our fumbling hearts and minds to obey and serve only You with all our heart, soul, and mind. Renew our hearts so that we may surrender ourselves to Your ways and seek to read Your Word, which is profitable.

Oh God, incline Your ears to my prayers and preserve my life when I trust You. Or when I’m oppressed by our cultural ideology. I cried to You with an insurmountable burden for my life and those I love. My emotions, worries, and fear sometimes sink my should into an ocean of grievance that I can barely bear on my own. Your word, O Lord, has given me strength, comfort, and hope. Let your Word be a blanket of comfort around me.

Listen to my plea, O Lord, all the nations have forsaken You, but all will one day bow their knees to You. The King of all kings.

Psalm 83

The Mercy of God

"Let them be put to shame and dismayed forever; let them perish in disgrace, that they know that you alone, whose name is the Lord, are the Most High over all the earth" (v17-18).

O God, Most High, let the Holy Spirit purify my mind so I may worship You perfectly and completely. “Turn, O Lord, deliver my life; save me for the sake of Your steadfast love” (Psalm 6:4). Let Your glorious name be renewed among Your people. We are weak in faith while our nations are under judgment because we all have forsaken Your ways. We’ve intertwined our lives with pagan worship, entertainment, cultural abomination, and pagan sacrifices. We’ve returned to Rome! Worse, we love it and have participated in the same abomination to satisfy our own worldly pleasure.

"Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." (Heb. 4:16

“O God, the Holy Spirit, that which I know not, teach me to keep a humble disciple in the school of Christ. Learning daily there what I am myself; A fallen sinful creature, justly deserving everlasting destruction. O let me never lose sight of my need of a Saviour, or forget that apart from Him I am nothing

Forgive me, O Lord, when tempted, doubtful, fearful or corrupted by the teachings of the pagant’s ways. Holy Spirit, “draw me near to Christ with a pure heart, steadfastly persuaded me of His love, in the full assurance of faith. Let me never falter in this way.” ~ Exerprt from Valley of Vision

Oh, Jesus, I pray You redeem our youngest son. Bring him back in his sound mind to us. I pray for my oldest that his broken wrist will heal well and heal his mental state that has been hurt by people. I pray for my daughter that you will bring a godly spouse that loves You.

“What the Church needs today is not more machinery or better, not new organization or more and novel methods, but men whom the Holy Ghost can use-man of prayer, men mighty in prayer. The Holy Ghost does not flow through methods, but through men. He does not come on machinery, but on men. he does not anoint plans, but men-men of prayer” ~ Power Through Prayer by E.M Bounds

Read Psalm 83 for yourself and pray over it. Our personal prayers are our own; we should bring them to God with a genuine heart that wants to please Him.

Let’s Go Pray!
